Nick Cage will be starring again as the eponymous character in the, short-of, reboot of the “Ghost Rider” franchise and unfortunately there hasn’t been much buzz about it. I sporadically get an article here and there about the film that occasionally flits across my desk, but nothing truly substantial. Yesterday I was fortunate enough to come across some new stills from the film as well as a promotional poster that had been plastered on the side of the wall.
What little I have read about the film has peaked my interest though. All of the previews have had stellar comments about the movie and I think this will be a viral hit once it hits theaters February 17th, 2011.
I honestly have not read many of the Ghost Rider comics and I am most definitely a noob when it comes to the lore. I do like the premise, however, and as an aside I was also surprised to learn that the new Ghost Rider comic series that just recently released featured a female Ghost Rider. So if anyone has any knowledge or back story on this please drop me a comment.
