The Flashpoint series, as well as, its tie-ins have been phenomenal to say the least, and if DC accomplishes what they are trying to pull off than they will have changed the comic book industry and history of their franchises forever. No small feat!
One of the most interesting of these tie-ins is Batman: Knight of Vengeance. According to the numbers this tie-in has outsold any other tie-in including all of the Fear Itself tie-ins! Which is definitely an amazing accomplishment. After reading through all of my comic book subscriptions I was surprised to learn that the Joker revealed in the last panel of Batman: Knight of Vengeance is none other than…Martha Wayne! Thomas Wayne’s wife became the twisted, psychotic villain after Bruce’s death, which also resulted in Thomas’ decision to wear the mantle of Batman. Definitely a surprising development and I am incredibly eager to read the next two issues and see how this story arc will affect the overall DC relaunch.
